Why your pricing review keeps stalling

A pricing review is rarely blocked by analysis. It is blocked by the absence of a named person who is allowed to say yes.

Why your pricing review keeps stalling

Pricing reviews stall in a specific way. The analysis finishes, the recommendation is sound, and then the work quietly returns to the backlog. The missing ingredient is almost never data.

The real blocker

Pricing touches sales compensation, finance forecasts, product roadmaps and customer trust at the same time. Each of those functions can veto, and none of them can approve alone. Without a named decision owner, the default outcome is delay.

Fix the decision right first, then run the analysis. The sequence matters more than the sophistication of the model.
